    Hello, I’m Jacqueline!

As a multi-culturally sensitive therapist, I often work with clients who feel overwhelmed or stuck, like there are no options. They might feel misunderstood or unsupported in areas of their lives. They’re interested in bettering their lives. I work with adolescents & adults navigating work, family, stress, relationships, depression or anxiety, & family cultural trauma.

Connecting back to a state of love, wholeness and centeredness is my hope for our work together; & that you feel understood. I am 2SLGBTQ+ affirming & Chinese Canadian. Mindfulness-based, somatic, mind-body, & talk therapy for anxiety, depression & self-esteem.

    About Me:

As a Qigong instructor and lifelong practitioner, I believe in honoring the mind-body-spirit connection.

I have an integrative style that focuses on empathy, talk, & getting to the roots of the issue of anxiety & depression for healing.

As a child of divorced immigrant parents, I’ve experienced challenges and healing too. Whether it is the most pressing issue of the week, a past trauma, or just trying to figure out where to go, I’m here to support you.

I hold training in spiritually-integrated psychotherapy informed by Buddhist & mindfulness-based approaches, that incorporates healing with the mind-body connection. I’m also a queer Asian therapist.

I have a prior Master’s degree in Early Childhood Studies, along with a Bachelors in Psychology, which has informed my understanding of human development. Outside of work, I love spending time with my little furry and fiesty dog, Lola.

I draw upon my training in mindfulness practices and modalities such as Emotion-Focused Therapy, Somatic Experiencing psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, non-violent communication, and Somatic Orienting to create a safe and supportive space for clients. I believe in empowering clients to build self-compassion, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and navigate life’s challenges with greater resilience. I have worked with individuals from 13 years – 93 years old.

    I work with:

    • Anxiety
    • Depression & Sadness
    • Self-Esteem & Self-love
    • School Issues & Relationships
    • Anxiety & Societal Pressures
    • Queer Issues and Questions
